On March 25, the University of Houston’s College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) hosted an event called “Essential but Illegal: COVID-19 and Reliance on Undocumented Labor,” featuring guest speakers Natalia Molina, Ph.D., and Dr. Nicholas De Genova. The event was an extension of CLASS’ “Race and Social Justice” lectures hosted by the Special Committee on Race and Social Justice and the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Center on Ethics and Leadership.

The Wakelet link below includes a live tweet thread of the event, along with some additional information, commentary, and links.
